We need your help! Please donate or become a sponsor!
The existing Prescott Pump Track is located within the Granite Creek Park. Its location makes it easily accessible to all who live in the growing Prescott metro area, and near to a diverse area of kids and families. Pump track design has evolved with new ideas for flow and progressive features which is lacking in our existing track.
The plan is to turn this conveniently accessible location into a place where families and people of all ages come to have fun. We plan to accomplish this by upgrading the current pump track. We received approval from the city to upgrade and expand the area from .18 acres to .23 acres. It will include something for riders of all abilities: a flow lane, a jump lane and a separate kid’s area.
Having this upgraded pump track at Granite Creek Park will attract more families to the area and improve the overall feel of the park.

Benefits of a pump track.

  • Promote a healthy lifestyle especially to children and teenagers.
  • Have a place where all ages and skill levels can learn and practice mountain biking together.
  • Fun for the whole family.

Who will build it:
The pump track is being designed and will be built by Prodirt Parks, pump track professional builders specializing on building pump tracks in small areas. The project will be managed locally by Josh Crothers from Prescott Landscaping Professionals (PLP) assisted by Joe Baynes, Director of Prescott Parks and Recreation. Local volunteers will be called to help build.
