Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Located on a 539-acre campus, Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is the world’s leading higher education institution specializing in Aviation, Aerospace, and Security and Intelligence. The campus is home to over 2,700 students from all fifty states and over 40 countries enrolled in 24 undergraduate and three graduate programs. The campus is home to the top ranked Aerospace Engineering program in the world, the winningest intercollegiate competitive flight team in the country (and three-peat defending national champions), and the country’s first College of Security and Intelligence.
The campus has recently opened a new 52,500 square foot STEM Education Center, home to the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium, which hosts outreach and educational experiences for the public. The campus has 11 intercollegiate teams that compete in the NAIA Cal-Pac Conference, where ERAU has one the last four consecutive Commissioner’s Cups for the most successful athletic teams. Various lectures, activities, summer camps, and athletics events are open to the public, and Embry- Riddle partners with the city for the annual Wings Out West Airshow in early October.

Northern Arizona University - Prescott Campus
NAU offers a respected bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at the Prescott Campus located at Yavapai Community College. This Elementary Education degree can be completed as a school-based program, cohort program, or traditional program and includes at least one semester of student teaching. Upon graduation, students are eligible for state certification in Elementary Education for grades 1-8. NAU is the only Arizona university accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Northern Arizona University – Prescott Valley Campus
Now in its ninth academic year, NAU’s Yavapai campus in Prescott Valley offers two leadingedge bachelor’s degrees and one master’s degree that are focused on developing skills for today’s job market. Bachelor’s degrees are delivered in a 90/30 format, where students transfer up to 90 credits and take the remaining 30 credits in their specified degree field. With a blended curriculum (in class and online), students can continue to work or tend to other obligations while earning their degree. Each class meets one evening per week in 8-week blocks, and students typically take six credits per session. Our graduates are starting their own businesses, landing great jobs, and being admitted to prestigious graduate schools domestically and abroad. Founded in 1966, Prescott College is proud to celebrate its rich 50-year history of offering experientially centered undergraduate and graduate degrees both on campus and via distance learning. Yavapai College
Founded in 1966, Yavapai College delivers high-quality, low-cost higher education, both online and face-to-face, and cultural resources for the diverse populations of Yavapai County. The College offers dozens of different programs of study at six county locations and online. Many of these programs transfer to four-year colleges and universities or lead directly to well-paying careers. In addition to traditional curriculum, the College offers learning options to fit the lifestyles and schedules of county residents. Learning options include online courses, noncredit courses, dual enrollment partnerships with high schools, senior programs (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute [OLLI], EDventures), and a high school equivalency program. Yavapai College further serves the needs and interests of county residents with a Performing Arts Center, art galleries, Regional Economic Development Center, nationally ranked athletic teams, and a Family Enrichment Center.
