Serving approximately 4,000 students in the area, Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) is a comprehensive K-12 public school district. PUSD comprises Discovery Gardens Pre-School, Abia Judd, Lincoln and Taylor Hicks Elementary Schools (K-4), Granite Mountain School (5-6), Mile High Middle School (7-8), and Prescott High School (9-12). Additionally, PUSD provides an online school program, as well as Career Technology Education classes through Mountain Institute Joint Technology Education District, of which PUSD is a member. PUSD has dedicated itself to developing advanced programming within its curriculum, dual enrollment opportunities for college credit, and it has been recognized as a top school district in Arizona.
