Brand Standards

The Prescott Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1910. Soon after, it took on the name of the Yavapai County Chamber of Commerce, but eventually regained its former identity of the Prescott Chamber and has stayed that way ever since. Today, the Chamber is active and providing leadership in many community events, while maintaining its interest in helping businesses succeed.

Brand identifiers, including our logos, color palette, fonts and overall image, are the external expression of our unique character. Our brand, like our strengths, distinguish us from other Chambers.

As this Chamber continues to grow, we strive to keep the Prescott Chamber of Commerce's fashion in line with our mission and core values. The standards below are developed and created to protect our identity.

Which type of file should I use?
JPEG
Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) files are best suited for photo images and complex graphics. JPEG files can support over 16 million colors and are most commonly used for small image files on websites or email. This format loses image quality when compressed and saved and does not work well for line drawings, text or simple graphics.
PNG
Portable Graphics Format files are designed specifically for transferring images on the Internet rather than for print graphics and, as a result of that, does not support non-RGB color spaces such as CMYK.The big plus is that .png offers a variety of transparency levels which means that PNG background can be completely transparent which is important for png logo designs and similar. It is also the best choice for pictures with fade effects.
